Price / Prix: $299.95 Ortovox Patroller is a very easy to use avalanche beacon with a range of up to 70m. It is a triple antenna beacon featuring a microprocessor that converts analog signals to provide a distance reading and directional arrows to help locate the avalanche victim faster.
This 3 antenna beacon guarantees a very long range with its analogue refined search of up to 70 metres.
When you are within 40 metres of the victim you searching for the beacon switches from analogue search to digital and provides you the distance reading as well as direction arrows.
When you are withing 12 metres the third antenna kicks in and makes for a precise pin-point search. Then it is up to you, your probe and shovel.
