Backcountry Access Snow Study Kit was developed in cooperation with North American avalanche professionals. The kit contains a digital thermometer, 6x magnifier, crystal card and slope meter.

Use the digital thermometer to accurately gauge the snow temperature of the terrain you are about to traverse. The temperature is displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. A pocket sized aluminum crystal card has printed information on basic snow crystal types and is perfect for quick reference. The 6x magnifying loupe helps you get a close look at the snow structure. The Backcountry Safety Slope Meter accurately measures the angle of the slope you're on so you can avoid dangerous situations.
